Spring certainly feels like it has sprung on the farm. I’m excited to announce our first annual Spring Chicken Sale. We raise our chickens on Pasture in the Adirondack Mountains in Northern NY, so that means about half of the year it is too cold outside to comfortably raise chickens. So we have a big freezer we fill in the fall to keep our chicken in stock all winter. As we prepare to process our first batch of chickens this spring, we need to make some room in the freezer.
So help us out and stock up on some of your favorite chicken cuts and take advantage of our best savings of the year on select chicken cuts.
While most days in May pass at an increasing speed, we had a welcome moment to look up at the night’s sky. On Friday evening we had a pretty good view of the Northern Lights. The picture above was taken by our neighbor and friend Cory Weidenbach.
Updates from the farm

Sophie has been hard at work learning the ropes of moving chickens and tending the pigs with Susu. Noah will begin preparing for our first chicken processing days in just about two weeks. The chickens and the pigs are enjoying an early pasture season; look at that green grass!
We also had a visit from Hometown Electrical Systems, they are a great local business and Ryan Hathaway and his family are customers of ours! We started installation of a generator hookup so we can easily and safely power the entire farm with our generator.
