It’s Sunday and that means orders go out next week…
But first I thought I would tell you about a few adventures from this weekend. Our kids, Ellie and Lewis (everyone calls him Chief) have been helping us with chores for years. For the most part it is a joy to have them, but certainly not a help. Well that is beginning to change!
Yesterday morning, as they helped me move the chickens, Ellie picked up the buckets in the coop and helped me carry them out. Meanwhile Chief finished scooping the feed and promptly started cleaning out the waterers. No directions, just went for it. My heart sang with pride, and he was so proud to be helping.
A few details:
- For folks who get delivery through our shipping program, we’re shipping this week, so place your orders by tonight at midnight to get your order by Tuesday or Wednesday depending on your location.
- We have partnered with our good friends at Tangleroot Farm here in Essex, to offer delivery of our goodies through their CSA delivery program. Folks who get their CSA box delivered by Tangleroot can add a box of meat to the delivery. For Saratoga CSA members select “Tangleroot Farm CSA Tuesday” (and for Essex area members select “Tangleroot Farm CSA Friday”) for your pickup location and we’ll have your order delivered in an insulated box with your CSA!
