Last week was a first for us.
In response to the covid situation back in March, we ordered an extra batch of chickens to arrive early. They arrived on March 25th, and it was a balmy 19 degrees! When they went to the field 3 weeks later it again hit 19 degrees that night!
But we’ve made some improvements in our chicken shelters and this batch had our newest version with roll-down sides! It has kept them warm and healthy until last week when we brought them in for harvest.

We dawned our facemasks…
Sharpened our knives and went to work. We processed 232 birds and by the time our orders were packed and ready to ship the next day we only had 10 whole chickens and a few packages of drumsticks left in the freezer! That’s over 1,000 lbs of chicken to our customers in 1 day.
THAT has never happened to us before!
Thank you to everyone who placed an order! It was our first full week shipping and packing orders and we only had 1 mushy box!
We’ll keep getting better.

The cycle continues. More chicks come, and more head to the field.
We’ve updated our inventory
And we have our Farm Sampler Bundle, and all chicken products back ready to order for delivery next week. We noticed that we forgot to include Chicken Tenders in our chicken bundles, so we’ve added those in!
Place your order before midnight on Sunday to receive your order by the end of next week!
Thanks as always for your support. Help us spread the word and pass this along to your friends and share it on social media.

Sincerely,
Nathan
